Welcome to our village...
     Ban Huai Chompoo is the ninth village encountered along the road into the Mae Tam catchment, and falls within the government zoned Moo 17. Huai Chompoo means pink stream. This Lahu village is situated at a high elevation above the main tributary of the Mae Tam river, almost to the head water forest. Surrounded by forest area with several waterfalls of various sizes, the village has more than enough options as far as water sources go.
