     Ban Ah Bo Do is the tenth village encountered along the road into the Mae Tam catchment, situated in the headwater area and falling within the government zoned Moo 24. Ah Bo Doe takes its name from the original founder of the village. It is the most remote, difficult to access, and sits at the highest elevation (over 1,200m above sea level). Hardly any flay land is to be found in this village, though one of the clearest views of the milky way in Thailand can be seen from it at night! Whilst it is very difficult to get to due to very difficult and dangerous road conditions (taking more than 2 hours from the main road), it boasts a pleasant cool climate and abundant water sources (mountain streams) to be drawn from.
